| One who eats human soulsStalking human prey deeply in the shadows, the smell of fear burning flesh.. A prick, a stab and maybe a kiss to your lips, your soul's bound to slip away.. The thoughts their eyes only could see, the mismatched colored eyes before diving into death..A reaper that devours flesh and bone This white colored moon standing high into the pitch dark sky with a glass coated look amd its pure light flashing through parts of the darkness. A stroll through the park in the crowded, honking streets in the downtown area of Chicago with their lights shining brightly than some other places, neon lights and all. Flashing headlights from the cars stuck in traffic and the sounds of them riding over the clanky, metal bridge along with train horns blaring through. Never gets old. The park always had their growing lushious trees arching over behind the small, black gates and standing tall, not too many people walking out on this lovely yet weird midnight. Even though, the park had been so lovely with lots coming through, but something bad happened. It seemed like everyone became afraid of what went on through the park a few nights ago.
A search party was moved towards the park by the time morning had rose up early around eight, the warming color of light blue shimering and glowing across the sky with not a cloud running through the pure yellowly bliss of the sunlight, slowly rising near its peek behind the large structures already built, casting shadows down onto the ground where the streets and people walk and drive freely like nothing's wrong. Maybe just curious of why the police cars were just sitting there right next to the park and why the yellow 'Do Not Cross' tape surrounded the opening like that. Of course, no one hasn't watched the news lately of some college girl's disappearence midnight, nineteen maybe eighteen with hazel eyes, long brunette colored hair reaching to half her back along with a mixed colored skin. Her parents sent out a missing person's case after she so called stormed out the house for the things she could not do. A bit dense she is. Leia Remington was her name and often hung around a "click" in college where her dear friend, Mimi Richardson, ran everything and labeled everyone something to her knowledge.
Yes, the daughter of a billionare that runs very pricy clothing line only the rich people can afford to wear. None of them are too good no way. Cause of that and her spoiledness, she acts like a bitch most times. Peachy yet pale colored skin glowing into the sunlight, green shimery eyes like emeralds able to hyponize the entire football team into doing her bidding, let's not forget her short, dark red colored hair reaching to her shoulders. The eye candy. What else can she be? After mintutes being wasted to find useful things after bringing the canine units to give them a good lead, the police can't really do much on their own most of the times, pathetic, their constint searching paid off. The girl's body turned up hidden few feet from the gate on the right side a little near one of the leaning trees. The media had been here with their cams just waiting for the update of the girl's mysterious disappearence before running up to see it all. Now the news' all blowing up to say that she's dead, but there was no blood or anything, just one clean cut.
Playing over their cameras and stand there infront of this horrid scene, speaking to those that live around before the murder occured. The body's covered little in dirt, eyes completly rolled into the back like her soul's been taken, no movement, no nothing. Just a dead, clean corpse. Questions were asked repeatedly to know how this all end up like this, the responce was still the same; pranks played by college and high school kids to stir this city into fear just for kicks. But then again, the police don't know too much. Of course their excuse shows up:
"We're not sure of this murder occurance, its just the lack of evidence we do not have. It might be just some type of prank played."
What do they know of this? Don't do anything none the less, more bodies will show up in piles into the streets. More and more til the population all died out of their existance. Then, everyone in Chicago will be dead and this killer will move on to another town if the police don't do some detective work into finding this clean cut killer. If no weapon is being used, nor blood being spilled, then what's the killer's motive? How is it possible to kill without showing evidence?
No one haven't been expecting, or noticing "death's" little personal visits to certain people being targeted for their evil deeds being displayed onto this world, using their time for the fame and many of the deadly sins to make it through these days. To survive was their motives.
Darken souls tainted with black soot of corruption along with the bones dipped in crimson shed through murder attracts this being to the real world, but there was no way to know what it was. Its well hidden to humans, completly blended in with their kind, eats, sleeps and breathes like a human. Yet the diet contains of dark souls and crimson bones but no one will expect that, cause it does this all in the late of midnight. This isn't a normal creature that normally spout through the daytime, nor its one of the nocturnal creatures many expect. Hell, its not even a creature to call it.
A reaper. The one that decends death on those who are close to it.
But this reaper is different. Not like the common grim reaper reaping souls, this reaper eats the soul and bone of the wicked, tormentors, well just about everyone with darkness looming around within.
Eater of souls.
But that wasn't stopping anyone to be pushed away towards wherever they should have went off to, mostly the college and high school kids as well as the adults stood around with their worried curious faces, something to talk and worry about throughout the building as the rumors of the entire months, maybe years. Everyone's afraid of whoever's been making clean cuts.
A rendered soul filled with hate and wine, bones made from darkness.. A prick from a thorn renders the signal of death.. A soul is lost through the flesh and bone, ready to be broken.. Devour one's soul through the taste of crimson..
A hard cover, crimson colored book, drawn and written in black ink to perfection, a grim tale of a town who's leader had given millions of sacrificials to death, keep the town and everyone else alive, mainly the tourists who keeps coming through to rest themselves before leaving out the next day. Yet it would not have mattered to him, by their last day or their next, each person would die from a horrid death mysteriously. Everyone became afraid, paranoid of even standing outside, maybe inside their own homes as well. Families being tormented by demonic spirits lurking inside, hiding. The town filled with many live people became dead or a rotten corpse.
Like a twisted fairy tale that's never put to rest, of course no one will know about this if they don't find it. Or will they?
Stuck through the campus filled with kids that already moved to their classes with no teachers, giving them the ability to linger around inside the room however they liked. Some were worried about the murders, yet others did not care for it cause it won't likely aim for them. Or so they thought it wouldn't. The click that stayed near the door, seated in the several desks near by in a row, wasn't too much worried about it since the death of Leia.
"Just relax guys, I bet whatever killed her would not kill us." Mimi shrugged triumphantly, unaffected of her death like the rest. Laughing. The sounds of a twisted knob caused everyone to move back in their seats in sight of their teacher with someone new. With a devious secret attached to him.
Devious plan became planned after seeing the sight of the new student, normal looking with oddly colored eyes: violet and blueish green, a bit pale milk peachy skin and raven colored hair cut to the back and growing bangs infront of his ears. Everyone was a bit stuned to find someone with mismatched colored eyes, its considered weird. "This is Mikami. Please make him feel confortable in this class."
The lectures were not so well informed, boring and placing everyone to slumber or to the point many passed notes to each other to talk, unlike everyone else, Mikami pulled out a black, leather book with weird drawings stuck in the middle, written in white, odd letters humans are bound not to get. But decided to decipher out word by word and strange letters, not so bright of a species are you? Pages and pages filled with drawings, circles of some kind like summoning. In a demonic language he's able to understand. From sacrificing animals to humans for the spirits not to eat your soul, to tossing the red rose to someone else.
But sometimes, even sacrificing won't save you from the curse that befalls you.
"Hey." Someone whispered, one of the "click" members, if he remembered hearing Jonathan or something like that who cares, decided to speak with Mikami. Bet everyone's jealous. "Do you have a name? Cause I wanted to know if you would you rather join our club? Luci and Mimi think you're cool enough to join, maybe snag a date with Luci? She been eyeballing you all day." He smirked while glancing over at the girl sitting right next to him known as "Luci." These humans don't seem too smart for their own good.
Luci. She was a bit taller than Mimi by a few centemeters, dark brown hair cut short to her neck, blue ocean eyes and pale milky mixed skin. The girl every guy wish they could get. Mikami stared at Luci with an unexpressioned face, somehow girls seemed to be attracted to guys with different colored eyes. Well, lust over. Let's put it bluntly where they could understand his words:
"Get lost, not interested."
Stunned by his words and how cold it was, Nathan had no choice but to tell the girls, which they'll try working things out by seduction or just words. Try if they wanted to, death's right at their doorstep. "That's the end of class, remember we have a test nex week." Sounds of squeeking chairs being pushed into the desks along with chattering people leaving out to the yellow, glowing sunlight. Beautiful. Flipping his bag over his shoulder and left, not even passed a block Mikami felt their presence following, stalking wise to get another answer out of him. He chuckled to their prowling.
"Why are we trailing him?" Nathan's curiousity got to him since they are following- er stalking for an answer. Mimi huffed at his question as she placed her dark red lock behind her ear. "We're going to get another answer out of him, I had the perfect plan for humiliation for the new kid." She sighed while Luci agreed to her silly statement. "All we have been getting is weirdos, no cute guys." Unaware that the group was speaking loud to let him hear everything they're planning, Mikami continued to walk.
"How amusing humans are when in need of answers.."
With their constent trailing behind, which amused Mikami of how persistant these people are about certain things, he lead them passed several blocks to an open place where anyone would go to unless they wished to pay their respects to the dead. Abandon house still sitting there in one piece despite of the broken window shutters and old wooden floors, trees gave up their will to grow their leaves and just died in many different places, graves stuck in a row with different height and grave markers made differently. Along with ravens hanging around the place, its like another set of a cemetary. Looking around and completly in fear for their lives.
"What kind of place is this?! I was expecting a giant home for someone with different colored eyes." Mimi groaned, sighing after being disapointed while placig her hands on her hips with a grimace look. Luci didn't like being here any longer, just something about it makes it so unwelcome. The ravens are one thing, but being surrounded by graves' a different story. "I don't know, its like a cemetary here. Its creepy." Luci muttered while rubbing her arms to get warm, Nathen wasn't too sure of even staying around this creepy place. "We should leave right now.." She felt disapointed in both her members wanting to leave out of the cemetary. "Not til we finish our jobs. This kid's persistant not to join this club, we're popular for pete sake."
"An eye for an eye..is there something you all want?" He giggled softly watching them twist and turn their heads to find him sitting high onto the roof of the empty home with a raven near him, staring them down with its grey lusted colored eyes.
"Get down here, you can't just turn Luci down like that! Do you know who we are?! I am the daughter of a billionare and Luci's the daughter of the chief of the police. We can and will get them down here and arrest you!"
"So?" He sighed, these threats are just so useless. "Is that how you get people to listen? Its pretty sad. You humans are the most pathetic creatures to be still alive." He glared for a bit, only to move his eyes away at the black bird now sitting onto his shoulders.
Mimi tensed up, she was pissed to say she was pathetic. No way she's weak, well she never did anything to prove that she had to be strong. "Shut up, my dad can and will get rid of you- are you even listening??!!" Mikami ignored her rumbling madness of being called weak before thinking about jumping down from great heights of a three story home. They all paniced at his great leaping height, covering eyes to not see the blood splattering moment, yet not a smug of blood dripped on their faces. "You should have been dead! No one cannot jump and live at the sametime!"
"You three are very annoying, I think you should leave unless you wish to die a horrible death. But then again, no one doesn't want to leave just yet." He flashed a smirk as the bird flew into a tree with the others while its black feathers dropped to the floor, pretty soon the feathers contained small drops and splatters of blood and blood curling screams sounded into the distance. It didn't matter, no one wasn't going to hear them.
"So much for that." He smiled while holding dark grey colored, glassly looking orb that was trying to leave off into the sky before swollowing it whole, mouth covered in blood from eating the bones. But saved at least one person left to eat later or whenever he's planning to have it. "Silly human beings.."
And a witness to see everything that went ary in the cemetary, what kind of motives will this witness do? Tell the police? Or try to get him to admit he's not even human?_________________ |
